Photoshop CS3 Tutorial: Vignette

I use vignetting in almost all of my photos so I thought I would show you the few simple steps I use to create a Vignette.

First open Photoshop and open a photo.

I chose this one of a football.


Next create a new layer above the original photo layer.

Layer-->New Layer

Your Layers Box should look like this:


Then with a large soft brush and Black as your brush colour, brush all round the edge of your photo.


Then change your Vignette layers opacity to around 75% and the fill to around 60% and you have your finished vignette.

On this image I also added a black border to make the photo stand out a bit more.
